KUPWARA, APRIL 6: In-order to contain the spread of Coronavirus, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today stressed on carrying out aggressive sampling and vaccination of Covid-19 across the district.
He gave these directions while inspecting Sub District Hospital Kupwara to take stock of Covid-19 Control Room and vaccination process.
He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone; Chief Medical Officer, Kausar Amin; Incharge Covid-19 Control Room, Ghulam Nabi Sheikh and other concerned.
The DC inspected the COVID-19 Control Room established in the Hospital. He also inspected the IPD block of the hospital and took stock of the ongoing vaccination process.
He was informed that the process of Covid testing is going on regular basis and most of the frontline workers and government employees across the district have been tested. The DC directed CMO to depute additional staff for rapid vaccination process besides emphasized for adherence of hygiene and sanitation in the hospital.
He also discussed other issues related to the hospital development, on the occasion.
