Srinagar, April 09: Encounter rages between militants and government in Naibugh Tral area of South Kashmir’s Awantipora on Friday morning.
Reports reaching that a joint team of Police and army’s 42RR launched a cordon and search operation in Tral.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed to about exchange of firing between militants and security forces.
