Two more bodies have been retrieved from a nallah, taking the death toll to five in a tragic accident in Doda district of Jammu division on Monday afternoon.
SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmad said that two bodies have been retrieved during the ongoing rescue operations inside the nallah.
The injured have been evacuated to GMC Jammu for immediate treatment, the official said.
“The rescue operations have been extended to a wider area to trace the missing persons”, the official said adding that the death toll may rise as several passengers are yet to be retrieved even as many of the already retrieved persons have suffered critical bodily injuries”, the official added.
