Interact with traders, transporters regarding restrictions
ANANTNAG, APRIL 22: In pursuance to orders issued by Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate Anantnag Dr. Piyush Singla for combating 2nd wave of Covid-19, the President Municipal Council Anantnag, Er. Hilal Ahmad Shah alongwith Superintendent Police Headquarter, Nikhil Borkhar and other officials visited various markets of Anantnag town.
During the visit, they interacted with the traders and asked them to exhibit compliance to the government directions for larger public safety and health.
They also appealed to them to strictly follow Covid SOPs so that the covid-19 infection rate may be significantly reduced.
Further, the violators of restrictions and Covid SOPs were warned of strict penal action as per relevant provisions of law.
Meanwhile, fines were imposed on the violators of SOPs/restrictions by the police authorities at many places in the district.
