DC Gbl monitors vaccination campaign at various CVCs Takes stock of adherence to Covid SOP

GANDERBAL, APRIL 26: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today visited various Covid Vaccination Centers (CVCs) to have a firsthand appraisal of progress of Covid vaccination campaign and adherence of Covid-19 SOPs as enforced in the district.

During her visit to CVCs, the DC monitored the COVID-19 vaccination campaign and inspected the facilities there. Jyotsna urged upon the people visiting there for vaccination to motivate others for vaccination besides adherence of COVID-19 SOPs to help the district administration in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 infection.

The DC on the occasion stressed for endorsement of Compulsory face mask usage, alternate opening of shops, observance of night Covid curfew and SOPs related to transport as put in place by the district administration to avoid further spread of the coronavirus.

She appreciated the efforts of transporters, traders and the general public for cooperating with the district administration in mitigating the challenges arising out of COVID-19 virus by way of following the SOPs in vogue which is the need of the hour.

Meanwhile the DC advised people to adhere strictly to the laid down SOPs in order to contain the spread of the second wave of covid-19.
