DC Pulwama inaugurates 1000 LPM oxygen generation plant at Dist. Hospital

Visits Pampore to check adherence of COVID-19 SOPs

           PULWAMA, APRIL 28: The District Development Commissioner (DDC)  Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq today inaugurated 1000LPM oxygen plant at District Hospital Pulwama here.

          The CMO Pulwama and Medical Superintendent were present at the event.

          On the occasion, the DDC  said that the demand for oxygen had increased because of the Covid-19 pandemic and thus it had become a challenge to ensure supply as per the demand. He said that the  plant having a capacity of 1000 LPM production of oxygen would meet the demand of oxygen.

         Later, the DDC conducted an inspection of Pampore town to take stock of implementation of various COVID-19 related advisories and guidelines including use of face masks, Social distancing, rotational opening of business establishments.

         During inspection, the DDC checked the adherence of covid-19 guidelines by shopkeepers, transporters and commuters and on the occasion violaters of covid-19 guidelines  were fined on spot.

        He appealed people to follow strictly all the guidelines and precautions in view of the pandemic and any violation shall invite strict action.

        The DDC during the visit was accompanied by ADC Awantipora, Tehsildar Pampore, SHO and other Officers.
