Activist MA Shah welcomes LG’s incentive initiative for Covid warriors Urges inclusion of Journalists, Security personnel, Anganwadi & Asha workers in the list

Ganderbal, May 04: The socio-political leader of Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah while welcoming the Lieutenant Governor’s order to providing financial incentives to the Medical Officers, Paramedical and support staff, has urged LG administration to think of Journalists, Anganwadi and Asha workers too.

In a statement issued to media, Mohammad Amin Shah expressed gratitude to the goodwill gesture of the Lieutenant Governor in which he ordered an appreciable financial incentive move for the front line covid warriors. He however said that the Journalists working on ground to assist the government reach to the needy and affected, are also the unsung heroes who have been on the forefront since the eruption of deadly coronavirus in early 2020.

Shah said Journalists are playing a very vital role in collecting and disseminating valuable information, the police security personnel stand at nakas all day and night to contain the viral transmission and the Anganwadi workers and Asha workers who are assisting the all important role in vaccination deserve to be enlisted as covid warriors and they also should be honoured with the financial appreciations.

Shah appreciated the dynamic role of DC Ganderbal, Ms Krittika Jyotsna (IAS), SSP Ganderbal, Suhail Munawar Mir (JKPS) for keeping a check on the spread of the deadly disease and has also applauded the efforts of CMO Ganderbal Dr. Mehraj Ud Din and Deputy Director ICDS Ms Bilqees for the commendable job of getting people vaccinated well in time.

Shah also requested general public to provide full cooperation to the administration by following SOPs and go for proper vaccination, so that the deadly coronavirus spread be contained effectively.
