Srinagar, May 5: District Administration Shopian has rebuffed the reports of complete lockdown being clamped in the south Kashmir district.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter DIPR Shopian on its official handle wrote; “Some Mohallas of the town #Shopian have been declared as micro containment zones. Rest shall operate as per SOPs issued by SEC/SDMA.”
“News regarding complete lockdown is baseless”, it said.

Meanwhile people were panicked after some social-media reports said that the administration has enforced a complete lockdown in the district.
