May 23: Handwara Police on the directions of SP Handwara Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS have distributed ration kits and other items among poor and needy families in Handwara.
The distribution function was held in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara. On the occasion, SHO PS Handwara distributed the ration kits and other items among the poor and needy families while following the social distancing norms and other protocols.
Handwara Police reiterated that J&K Police is always ready to render helping hand to the people and assured that reach out programmes shall continue in the police district. Earlier the ration kits were also distributed among poor families falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Qalamabad, Police Posts Langate, Magam and Chogal.
General public of the area have appreciated the role of police for organising such events.
