“Hope it will encourage youth to explore opportunities in farming”
Baramulla June 6: Deputy Inspector of General North Kashmir Sujit Singh on Sunday gave a pleasant surprise to farmers when he joined them in rice transplantation during early hours of Sunday in the outskirts of Sopore.
Sujit was passing through paddy fields of Sopore and he joined a group of farmers in paddy sowing.
Speaking to news agency DIG North Kashmir said his sole purpose of joining the farmers in paddy transplantation will encourage people to do farming.
“No job is inferior, I appeal the youth to find opportunities in farming. It was pleasant moment for me to join them. I also interacted there with youth and other people. I had also lunch with them, I can say this was my best experience today,” he added. (KNS)
