Tightening noose around violation of traffic norms in Surankote,On the direction of DYSP Traffic Rajouri-Poonch Range Aftab Bukhari DTI Traffic Poonch Shoket Amin alongwith SO Traffic Surankote Mohd Younis Khan Laid a Special Naka and took strict action against those who were violating traffic norms by overcharging of fare, not following SOPs in commercial vehicles, without proper documents, wothout helmet, without seatbelts in Surankote Sub-divison of Poonch District.
A team of traffic police led by DTI Traffic Poonch Shoket Amin, today continuing it’s drive against traffic rules violators in town surankote laid special nakas to check traffic violations at , TCP , Mirza morh , Potha By Pass, and intercepted a number of vehicles being driven in violation of norms.
Several vehicles were also Challaned who were over charging fare from passengers and those who were found carrying more than 50% passengers.
Further Violators were also penalized who were without without Fitness, insurance, seat belt tripple riding, without crash helmets , and without licence.
In this connection people of the area hailed the efforts of traffic police especially DTI traffic Poonch Shoket Amin appealed them to continue it’s drive against violators in Surankote on daily basis. Moreover, they appealed that driving by minors, and without helmets is a great concern and a special drive must be launched in these rural areas moreover strict action should be taken. Special nakas should be established to check violations on daily basis.
DTI Traffic Poonch Shoket Amin Appealed all the parents not to allow their minor children to drive which is grave violation of norms and can draw stern action as per law.
Moreover, he also said that, those who were found violating traffic normal would not be spared. He also said, that those drivers who were found overcharging fare or carrying more than 50% passengers will also be penalised as per law.
He appealed, general public to adhere to all SOPs, while travelling. He said, already Surankote market is very congested, and due to wrong parking it gets more worst. Public badly suffers due to this wrong parking. He will not spare anyone who will be found guilty.
