Directs to complete all 157 alloted works under fix timeline, Stress to monitor the progress of B2V-3 works on daily basis for timely completion

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda,Vikas Sharma today chaired the meeting of all key officers of RDD and various Executing agencies at meeting hall of DC office and reviewed the status of estimation and tendering of works approved under flagship programme B2V-3.
During the course of meeting the DDC sought in detail & updated figures block wise with regard to the estimation, tendering, allotment and completion of B2V-3 works, besides enquired about issues if any hampering the execution of works.
It has been informed to the DDC by Ex En REW that till now 585 works have been tendered out of 732 works pertaining to RDD sector, in which 157 works have been alloted,15 completed physically, besides informed that regarding rest of works 59 fresh NITs shall be uploaded within 3 days, adding to this other remaining 88 works are held up due to various reasons which includes corrigendum, non availability of land and other issues and works already executed.
The DDC directed the concerned to expand the scope of tenders folated twice but not successful due to low competition at Panchayat level, shall be extended upto the block level with the supporting documents from Gram sabha, besides constituted the Committee at district level comprises of ADDC, ACD, CPO and Ex En REW who shall review the cases of every dispute and corrigendum reason keeping in view the sanctity of the scheme for further course of action.
Further the DDC directed the concerned authorities and executing agencies to expedite the tendering and monitor the progress of alloted works on daily basis for timely completion.
Moreover regarding the B2V-3 works pertaining to other departments the DDC directed the concerned to expedite the estimation and tendering process of approved works on fast track basis for timely completion, besides directed the CPO to hold meeting within two days of these departments which shall be chaired by ADC so that the discrepancies shall be evaluated and sorted out on priority.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, ACD Doda, SE PWD, All BDOs, ExEn REW, PHE besides other concerned.
