Qazigund, Jul 03: A daily wager of Power Development Department (PDD) was injured due to electrocution in Chowgam village of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday morning.
A police officer told the news agency— (KNO) that Abdul Hamid Najar, son of Ghulam Hassan Najar received an electric shock while repairing a transmission line in Chowgam village today at around 09:30 am.
Najar, a resident of Nowa got seriously injured following which he was rushed to GMC Anantnag for treatment, official said
