Rs 980 Cr disbursed among 44766 beneficiaries in Kulgam

KULGAM, JULY 05: The District Development Commissioner Kulgam Dr. Bilal- Mohi -Ud-Din Bhat, today,  chaired the District Level Review Committee Meeting (DLRC) convened to review the performance of Banks and Line Departments.

The Meeting was attended by, ACD, CPO, District officers of line Departments, Lead District Manager, DDM NABARD, , Cluster Head JK Bank, District Coordinators of other Banks and civil departments.

LDM, Arshid Qadri informed the meeting that deposits of Banks stood at Rs 2069.65 Crore as on 31.03.2021 witnessing growth of 13.68% over March 2020, Advances stood at Rs.1591.34 cr as on 31.03.2021 witnessing growth of 15.70% over March 2020. The Credit Deposit Ratio is 76.89% which is quite above the National Bench Mark of 60%.

Under the District Annual Credit Plan for 2020-21 of Rs.1464.40 Cr Banks have disbursed Rs.980.01 Cr to 44766 beneficiaries for FY up to 31.03.2021 thus achieving 67% of ACP target despite Pandemic restrictions, the meeting was informed.

It was informed that achievement under the Priority Sector is Rs.795.38Cr (58%) of ACP and under the Non-priority sector it is Rs. 184.62Cr a total of 184% of ACP.

Under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan 15821 cases under KCC crop and 5762 cases under KCC AH&F have been sanctioned during this year, the meeting was told.

DDC stressed for proper & timely implementation of Govt Schemes PMEGP, REGP, PM SVNidhi, NRLM, NULM & PMAY to generate self-employment opportunities in District.

DDC while reviewing sector wise achievements, directed Banks to improve credit dispensations in Agriculture, MSME, housing and education sectors.
