Srinagar, Mar 03: After closed briefly due to landslides at Chamalwas area of Ramban, the traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar highway has been resumed, officials said.

“Traffic movement has resumed at Rehampadi, Chamalwas, from both sides on the national highway,” traffic official told the news agency.
Landslides were reported to have occurred in the Rehampadi Chamalwas area on the national highway.

The highway is the lifeline for the Kashmir valley and the main link road connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country.

Kashmir bound trucks laden with essential supplies and other vehicles pass through the highway.
