DODA, APRIL 04: District Development Council vice Chairperson, Sangeeta Rani today inaugurated the U17 girls’ athletic event here at Sports Stadium Doda under the ongoing Sansad Khel Spardha block level competitions.
In the 100 metre race Insha Banoo of Changa Block secured first place, while Shazia Banoo (of Gundana block) ended at 2nd place and Nadhiya Kousar ( of Changa block) bagged 3rd place.
In the 200 metre race, Shazia Banoo (of Gundana Block) won 1st prize and Kajal Devi (of Gundana) and Nadhiya Kousar (of Changa) got second and third places, respectively.
Similarly, in the 400 metre competition, Asma Banoo (of Chiralla) got 1st place, Nisha Devi (of Khellani) got 2nd place and Rozina Banoo (of MC Doda) bagged 3rd position.
The matches of U/17 Girls Volleyball, Kabaddi, and athletics shall culminate tomorrow.
