An old female tourist from Maharashtra died due to a cardiac arrest in summer capital Srinagar on Monday.
An official source told news agency that the tourist identified as Sushma Girgankar wife of Mukand Girgankar, a resident of Maharashtra, who was staying at a houseboat in Dal Lake complained of chest pain and was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital.
However, doctors, after examining the old-lady at the facility, declared him dead with the reason cited of heart attack, the official said.
