SRINAGAR, JUNE 06: As part of World Environment Week-2022 celebrations, the P. G. Department of Environmental Science and Department of Environment and Water Management Sri Pratap College, Srinagar today organised an inter college painting competition on the theme ‘Only One Earth’.
The Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Khurshid Ahmad Khan encouraged the students to participate in such programmes for overall personality development. He explained to the students about the uniqueness of our planet Earth and the need for the conservation of earth’s resources for a sustainable future.
Prof. Bashir Ahmad Mir was the guest of honour on the occasion.
As many as 27 students from different colleges participated in the competition. Prof. Shahid Ahmad Wani (Coordinator), Dr. Qazi Ashiq Hussain (Organising Secretary), Dr. Sana Shafi (in-charge painting competition) and other faculty members were present on the occasion to facilitate the programme.
