Jammu, September 09 – Army on Monday claimed to kill two terrorists in an anti-infiltration operation in the Lam area of the Nowshera sector in the Rajouri district.
Informing via micro-blogging platform X, the Knight Corps of the army wrote, “Based on inputs from intelligence agencies and JmuKmrPolice regarding a likely infiltration bid, an anti-infiltration operation was launched by IndianArmy on the intervening night of 08-09 Sep 24 in the general area Lam, Nowshera.
Two terrorists have been neutralized and a large quantity of war-like stores including two AK-47s and one pistol have been recovered. The search operation is in progress,” reads the post.(GNS)
