Jammu: Alert Border Security Force (BSF) personnel opened fire at suspicious movement from Pakistan in the RS Pura sector on the midnight of New Year.
Sources told news agency JKNS that, late-night alert troops of BSF in RS Pura sector opens fire at suspicious movement from Pakistan.
Adding that, over a dozen rounds were fired by the BSF sentry after detecting the movement.
Following the incident, search operations have been launched in the forward areas to ensure no infiltration attempts occurred, sources added. (JKNS)
