Srinagar, Jan 1 (JKNS): On the occasion of New Year 2026, Shri A.G. Mir (IPS), Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Jammu and Kashmir, extended his warm and heartfelt greetings to all officers, officials, HG/CD volunteers of the organisation and the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

In his message as per news agency JKNS, the Commandant General appreciated the unwavering dedication, professionalism and selfless service rendered by all ranks in ensuring public safety, disaster response and community service, especially during challenging situations.

He expressed confidence that the force will continue to uphold its rich traditions of discipline, resilience and commitment in the coming year, while remaining prepared to meet future challenges with courage and compassion.

Shri A.G. Mir also called upon all personnel to renew their pledge to duty with enhanced zeal, integrity and teamwork. He wished that New Year 2026 brings peace, prosperity, good health and happiness to every household across Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
