Kishtwar, Feb 2 (JKNS): The General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, along with the GOC CIF (Delta), on Monday visited the Kishtwar area to take stock of the counter-terrorism (CT) grid and evaluate the operational readiness of Army units deployed in the region.
According to news agency JKNS, the visiting Army commander was briefed in detail on the existing security scenario. Deliberations were held on further tightening the counter-terrorism architecture and improving synergy among various security stakeholders to effectively address emerging threats.
During the visit, the GOC lauded the personnel of Delta Force for their professionalism, high morale and sustained commitment towards maintaining peace and stability. He exhorted the troops to remain alert, adaptable and fully prepared to meet any operational challenge at all times.
The visit underscores the Army’s emphasis on maintaining a robust security posture and ensuring preparedness of forces operating in sensitive areas. (JKNS)
