Srinagar, Apr 6 (JKNS): The President of PSAJK, Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam, on Monday announced that elections for the District Srinagar unit will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, as part of the ongoing election process across Kashmir division.
He said that polling will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Central Office Srinagar, where all eligible members have been requested to participate and exercise their democratic right.
Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam further informed that two candidates—Tahir Ahmad Waggay and Azar Ahmad Dar—are contesting for the post of District President, PSAJK Srinagar.
He urged members of the association to ensure their presence at the polling venue within the stipulated time. He also stated that members of the Election Commission will remain present to ensure smooth, fair and transparent conduct of the election. (JKNS)
