Srinagar, Apr 15 (JKNS): In an inspiring story of determination and resilience, a completely visually impaired student from Srinagar has secured an outstanding 95% marks in the CBSE Class 10 examination.

Emotionally overwhelmed yet filled with gratitude, Zainab Bilal, daughter of Bilal Qayoum Rehbar of Badshah Nagar Natipora Srinagar, celebrated her achievement with family members after the declaration of results.

Zainab as per news agency JKNS, said she had not expected such a high score due to the perceived difficulty level of the CBSE examinations, but expressed immense happiness after securing 475 out of 500 marks.

She credited her success to her parents, teachers, and support system, stating that her mother, father and grandfather remained her strongest pillars throughout her academic journey. She also acknowledged the role of teachers at Delhi Public School Srinagar and inclusive academic support provided by her mentors and educators.

Zainab said she intends to pursue higher studies in the field of Information Technology, preferably Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), as she has a strong inclination towards computers and digital learning.

Sharing an emotional message for students and parents, she urged them never to give up in life despite challenges and emphasized that consistent effort matters more than intensity of effort.

She also appealed to parents of specially-abled children to believe in their potential and support them rather than limiting their aspirations, adding that determination and consistency can help anyone achieve success in life. (JKNS)
