PDD Employee Dies of Electric Shock in Baramulla

Baramulla, Apr 19 (JKNS): A Power Development Department (PDD) employee died after receiving an electric shock while carrying out repair work in Baramulla district on Sunday.

Reports reaching news agency JKNS, the deceased has been identified as Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, son of Mohammad Sultan Sheikh, a resident of Binner Baramulla.

The employee sustained a severe electric shock during repair work and was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for treatment.

However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead on arrival.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
