Er. Aijaz Hussain Pays Tribute to Pahalgam Martyrs on 1st Death Anniversary at Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 22 (JKNS): Er. Aijaz Hussain Rather, State Executive Member, BJP and Co-Incharge Minority Morcha, UT of Jammu & Kashmir, on Thursday paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs of Pahalgam on their 1st death anniversary at a solemn ceremony held at the BJP office in Srinagar.

 

Paying homage, Er. Aijaz Hussain strongly condemned the cowardly attack in which 26 tourists were martyred by Pakistan-backed terrorists, terming it a heinous act aimed at disturbing peace and harmony in the region. He said that such acts of violence cannot weaken the resolve of the people and reaffirmed that the nation stands united against terrorism.

 

Remembering the supreme sacrifices made by the martyrs, he stated that their courage and sacrifice will always be remembered and continue to inspire generations. He emphasized that the people of Jammu & Kashmir stand united in honoring their bravery.

 

The program was attended by several senior party leaders, including State Secretary Arif Raja, State Spokespersons Altaf Thakur and Manzoor Bhat, Office Secretary Shalinder Singh, and Protocol Incharges Aqeel Ahmad and Uzair Beigh, who also paid rich tributes on the occasion.

 

On the occasion, a rally was also organized by party leaders in the Jawahar Nagar area of Lal Chowk constituency in Srinagar, where participants paid homage to the martyrs and reiterated their commitment towards peace and national unity.

 

Er. Aijaz Hussain expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls, reiterating the commitment to uphold peace, unity, and national integrity. (JKNS)
