Srinagar, Apr 27 (JKNS): A Bharat Darshan tour aimed at broadening the horizons of 20 students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families of Budgam concluded on Monday, with participants returning after a week-long educational journey that exposed them to India’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

Bharat Darshan Tour which was organized to enhance the exposure of 20 students hailing from BPL families of Budgam concluded.

The students who were part of the tour from 22 Apr to 27 Apr were warmly received by CO 43Bn CRPF and Unit officials at District Police Lines Budgam.

While interacting with the touring students, the officers congratulated them for availing the opportunity and taking best out of this tour by visiting places of historical importance and other contemporary places of interest.

The touring students exhibited enthusiasm and were full of confidence after completing the tour from Srinagar to Delhi and subsequently to Agra. The students described the tour as a great success and asserted that the tour provided them a new experience and also gave them vast exposure to become more confident and attain knowledge about the visiting places.

The students opined that the tour helped in celebrating India’s rich heritage, fostered them cultural exchange and strengthened the spirit of national integration, inspiring the young minds to dream bigger and feel more connected to the Nation.

CO-43 Bn reiterated CRPF commitment in organizing such tours on regular basis so as to have provide first-hand experience to students to understand India’s vast Cultural, geographical and social economic diversity and further broadening perspectives and building confidence. Earlier, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, 2-IC and Sh. Prabhat Kumar Singh, 2-IC of 43 Bn welcomed the students from the tour. (JKNS)
