Srinagar, Apr 27 (JKNS): A 28-year-old youth was killed while his brother was injured in a hit-and-run incident near Police Lines Pulwama on Sunday evening, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS stated that two brothers were hit by an unidentified vehicle, leaving both injured. They were initially shifted to District Hospital Pulwama and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.
However, one of the injured, identified as 28-year-old, Rahil Ahmad Kumar, son of Ghulam Ahmad Kumar, a resident of Amlar Pulwama, succumbed to his injuries and was declared brought dead at the hospital. His brother, 22-year-old, is stated to be stable.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
