Srinagar, Apr 28 (JKNS): The Associated Hospital GMC Anantnag has issued a fresh order to streamline cardiology OPD services amid rising patient demand for consultation with Dr. Shamim Iqbal, Consultant Cardiologist.
As per the order issued by MS- GMC Anantnag as pwr news agency JKNS, a maximum of 150 patients will be allowed for consultation through online registration only, with the portal opening every Thursday for appointments. The hospital administration has made it clear that no offline OPD tickets will be issued under any circumstances.
The OPD will function from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on the scheduled day, presently fixed as Friday. Authorities said the decision was taken following a meeting with the Head of Department, Cardiology, to ensure better management of patient flow.
To further regulate overcrowding, the Medical Records Department has been directed to implement a token system across all OPDs, with patient entry strictly based on token numbers. The administration warned that any violation of the guidelines will be taken seriously, stating that the move is aimed at improving patient care and ensuring efficient hospital management. (JKNS)
