Srinagar, Apr 30 (JKNS): Saving The Future (STF), in collaboration with the Indian Army, on Thursday organized a community outreach programme in Srinagar as part of its initiatives under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, marking the first event of its outreach series in Jammu and Kashmir.

Saving The Future (STF), in collaboration with the Indian Army, today organized a community outreach programme as part of its series of initiatives aligned with the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in Jammu and Kashmir under the guidance of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor. This programme marked the first event of the outreach series launched by STF.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members of New Public Model School, Bemina, Srinagar, who actively engaged in spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse within the local community.

Students, along with their teachers and the STF team, reached out to residents, shopkeepers, and the general public, sensitizing them about the dangers of substance abuse and promoting the message of a drug-free society. The initiative focused on encouraging collective responsibility and community-driven efforts to combat the growing menace of drugs.

STF has planned to organize a series of such outreach programmes in the coming days, with broader participation from students and institutions across the Valley, further strengthening the campaign and amplifying its impact. (JKNS)
