Ramban, May 2 (JKNS): The body of a missing youth was recovered on Saturday morning from Kralna near Khoni Nallah in Ramban district, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the dead body of Mohd Tanveer Chopan, son of Mohd Salam Chopan, resident of Mundkhal, Tehsil Pogal Paristan, District Ramban, was recovered during a joint operation.
The recovery was carried out by Police, SDRF, Himalayan QRT, and local residents of the area after intensive efforts.
He said the deceased was later identified by his father and mother at the spot.
Further details regarding the circumstances of the incident are awaited, while police have taken cognizance and initiated investigation. (JKNS)
