Pulwama, May 2 (JKNS): Continuing its intensified drive under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Pulwama Police on Saturday apprehended a drug peddler and recovered a significant quantity of contraband during naka checking in the Litter area.
As per news agency JKNS, During naka checking near Petrol Pump at Peer Takiya Road, Litter, Pulwama Police apprehended one person identified as Farooq Ahmad Malla S/O Gh Mohiddin Malla R/O Litter. During search, charas-like substance weighing approximately 538 grams was recovered from his possession and seized on the spot.
Accordingly, FIR No. 53/2026 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
