Kulgam, May 7 (JKNS): An unidentified dead body was found in the National Highway area of Subhanpora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday, officials said.
Sources told news agency JKNS that the body was spotted in the Subhanpora area along the highway following which police reached the spot and took the body into custody.
Officials said the identity of the deceased could not be immediately established and further verification is underway.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
