Bandipora, May 8 (JKNS): Political leader and former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid on Thursday claimed that several National Conference (NC) legislators were unhappy with the present government, alleging that the promises made by the party to the people had remained unfulfilled.
Addressing the media, as per news agency JKNS said, that the expectations which National Conference (NC) MLAs had from the government were not fulfilled.
He stated that due to the prevailing situation, there is a possibility that some NC MLAs may part ways and form a new political party in the coming time.
Usman Majid further alleged that the National Conference has failed to implement the promises mentioned in its manifesto and claimed that, like previous times, the party once again secured votes through misleading assurances.
He made these remarks while interacting with the media in the presence of several prominent NC workers from Naidkhai Kanipora area of district Bandipora, who extended their support to him and joined hands with the former legislator.
Speaking on the occasion, the workers said that they were impressed by the leadership and vision of Usman Majid and expressed hope for a stronger political alternative in the region. (JKNS)
