Srinagar, May 11 (JKNS): Around 50 goats belonging to a Bakerwal family reportedly died after a lightning strike incident in Chountpathri Kawa Cherwan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district late last night.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the incident occurred at around 10:00 PM when lightning struck the area during bad weather conditions.
They said nearly 50 goats died on the spot due to the lightning strike, causing significant loss to the Bakerwal family.
Meanwhile, officials said further details regarding the incident are awaited. (JKNS)
