Srinagar, May 13 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has decided to reduce the size of his official convoy by half following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for austerity and fuel-saving measures, officials said on Wednesday.
Officials from Lok Bhawan confirmed to news agency JKNS, that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has decided to cut down his Convoy Size by half, following the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Austerity Call.
“The decision has been taken in line with the Prime Minister’s recent emphasis on adopting austerity measures and promoting fuel conservation during official movements and government functioning,” an official from Lok Bhawan told JKNS.
They said the reduction in convoy size is aimed at encouraging efficient use of resources while maintaining essential security protocols.
As reported by JKNS earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed for austerity measures and stressed the importance of fuel saving and efficient governance practices across different levels of administration. (JKNS)
