Anantnag, May 18 (JKNS): Around 2,000 poultry birds died after a poultry-loaded vehicle met with an accident and overturned near the Bypass area of Wonpoh in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the accident resulted in the death of nearly 2,000 poultry birds, causing massive losses to the owner.

Soon after the incident, police and local authorities rushed to the spot and initiated necessary legal proceedings.

Meanwhile, investigation has been taken up to ascertain the cause of the accident. (JKNS)
