Srinagar, May 20 (JKNS): A 15-year-old girl was found dead in the Mubarak Colony area of Noorbagh on Tuesday, officials said.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the girl was shifted to the hospital immediately after the incident; however, doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of Mubarak Colony Noorbagh and was found hanging at her maternal home.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation has been initiated. (JKnS)
