New Delhi, May 22 (JKNS): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the inter-cadre deputation of senior IPS officer Mukesh Singh from the AGMUT cadre to the Manipur cadre for a period of three years.
According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), as per news agency JKNS, the approval was granted following a proposal moved by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Mukesh Singh, a 1996-batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been deputed to Manipur cadre in relaxation of the existing inter-cadre deputation norms and by waiving the mandatory cooling-off period after central deputation as a special case in public interest.
The approval was communicated through an official memorandum issued by the Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. (JKNS)
