Jammu, Jun 2 (JKNS): General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC Counter Insurgency Force (CIF) Romeo, visited the Gambhir Mughlan area of Poonch district to review the progress of Operation Sheruwali and assess the prevailing operational situation on the ground.
As per news agency JKNS, During the visit, the senior Army commanders were briefed on the operational design, ongoing actions and sustainment measures being undertaken as part of the operation. The GOC also reviewed the logistics framework supporting troops deployed in the challenging terrain and assessed the overall preparedness of forces engaged in the mission.
According to the Army, the White Knight Corps Commander commended all ranks for their resilience, professionalism and meticulous execution of operational tasks. He lauded the troops for maintaining high morale, unwavering focus and determination while pursuing operational objectives in the area.
The White Knight Corps reiterated its commitment to maintaining peace and security through sustained operational excellence and mission readiness. The Army stated that operations in the area are continuing with full intensity and vigilance, adding that “the hunt continues.” (JKNS)
