Jammu, June 11 (JKNS): Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma visited the forward areas of the White Knight Corps to review operational preparedness and assess the security situation along the frontier.
During the visit, he emphasized the need to adapt to evolving operational challenges through the integration of emerging technologies and also inaugurated a state-of-the-art medical facility established in a forward area.
As per a post shared by the Northern Command on X, as per news agency JKNS, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma reviewed the operational readiness of troops deployed in forward locations and interacted with officers and soldiers on the ground.
The Army Commander underscored the importance of leveraging emerging technologies to refine tactics, techniques and procedures in response to changing security dynamics and operational requirements.
During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma also inaugurated a state-of-the-art medical facility operationalised in the forward area, aimed at strengthening healthcare support for troops deployed in challenging conditions.
He commended all ranks for their professionalism, high morale and unwavering commitment towards safeguarding the nation.
The Northern Command stated that the visit reaffirmed the Army’s focus on operational excellence, technological adaptation and troop welfare while maintaining a high level of readiness along the border.
The Army Commander reiterated the force’s commitment to the motto of “Nation First” and lauded the dedication of soldiers serving in demanding operational environments. (JKNS)
