Srinagar, June 11 (JKNS): A 25-year-old man was found unconscious inside an industrial unit in the Khonmoh area of Srinagar and was later declared brought dead at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Khonmoh, officials said on Thursday.

Sources told news agency JKNS that a police party from Police Post Khonmoh, brought the body to the hospital for medico-legal formalities after the man was declared dead at PHC Khonmoh.

The deceased has been identified as Syed Ali, son of Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Rajouri.

The man was found unconscious inside Top Mind Industries in Khonmoh under circumstances that are being investigated.

The body has been shifted for necessary medico-legal procedures, while police have initiated proceedings to ascertain the cause of death.

Further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
