Srinagar, June 21: A meeting of kerosene oil licence holders was held at Eidgah, Srinagar, in the presence of senior association members Mr. Javid Ahmad Sofi and Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Shalla to discuss the recent Government Order concerning kerosene licence holders.
The participants unanimously welcomed the order and termed it a significant relief for the dealer community. They expressed satisfaction over the Government’s decision and hoped that the Government of India would ensure adequate and regular supply of kerosene in the future to safeguard the interests of both consumers and licence holders.
The gathering extended special thanks to the Hon’ble Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Shri Satish Sharma, for his support and efforts in addressing the long-pending concerns of kerosene licence holders. The participants also expressed their gratitude to the Commissioner, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, and the Director Food for their cooperation and positive role in resolving the issues faced by the dealer community.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to work for the welfare of licence holders and ensure smooth distribution of kerosene across the Valley.
