Leh, June 23 (JKNS): The first-ever Sindhu Kumbh and the 30th edition of the Sindhu Darshan Yatra were celebrated with grandeur at the sacred Sindhu Ghat in Leh on Tuesday, bringing together spiritual leaders, diplomats, dignitaries and thousands of pilgrims in a major display of cultural, spiritual and national unity.

As per news agency JKNS, 30th Sindhu Darshan Yatra was held at the sacred Sindhu Ghat, Leh, in the presence of the Honourable Lieutenant Governor Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Rupesh – RSS ambassadors, high commissioners, spiritual leaders, political representatives, and thousands of pilgrims from India and across the world.

 

The grand event began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the magnificent Grand Kalash Yatra carrying sacred water representing 156 nations, symbolising global unity, peace, and the universal spirit of the Sindhu River.

 

The sacred rituals at the Sindhu River were performed in the presence of Shri Indresh Kumar Ji (RSS), His Eminence the 8th Chokyong Palga Rinpoche Ji, Smt. Nimuben Jayantibhai (Hon’ble Minister of State), Shri Vijender Gupta Ji (Speaker, Delhi Assembly), Shri Tashi Gyalson Ji (Former CEC, LAHDC Leh), ambassadors and high commissioners of 8 countries, senior officials, MPs, MLAs, judges, and distinguished guests.

 

The event also witnessed the presence and contribution of Shri Murlidhar Makhija, Bhupinder Kansil, and Parmjit Singh Gill from the Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti, who have played an important role in carrying forward this historic cultural and spiritual movement.

 

Revered spiritual leaders including Chidanand Muni Ji and Devki Nandan Ji blessed the occasion along with thousands of devotees. Around 5,000 pilgrims participated in this grand celebration, which beautifully showcased India’s cultural diversity through vibrant programmes representing different states under the theme of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”

 

The Pratham Sindhu Kumbh and 30th Sindhu Darshan Yatra marked a significant moment of spiritual devotion, national integration, and global cultural harmony at the banks of the sacred Sindhu River. (JKNS)
