Srinagar, June 26 (JKNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) on the occasion of Ashoora, saying his supreme sacrifice continues to inspire people across the world to remain steadfast in the pursuit of truth and justice.

 

 

 

 

In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, Prime Minister Modi said the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) serves as a timeless reminder of the enduring power of courage and conviction.

 

 

 

 

“The sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) continues to inspire many people to remain steadfast in the pursuit of truth and justice. It is also a reminder of the enduring power of courage and conviction,” PM Modi posted on X.

 

 

 

 

Youm-e-Ashoora, commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions in the Battle of Karbala, is being observed across the country with religious solemnity and reverence.

 

 

 

 

Thousands of mourners are participating in processions, Majalis and prayers, remembering the timeless message of sacrifice, truth, justice and resistance against oppression that continues to inspire humanity. (JKNS)
