Kashmir’s Mohammad Qais Wins Bronze at 3rd North Zone National Soft Tennis Championship

Srinagar, June 28 (JKNS): International Soft Tennis athlete Mohammad Qais clinched the bronze medal at the 3rd North Zone National Soft Tennis Championship organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Soft Tennis Association under the banner of the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India.

The championship was held from June 26 to June 28 in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and witnessed participation from players representing various North Zone states.

 

The medal adds another achievement to Mohammad Qais’ sporting career, reflecting his consistent performances at the national level.

 

The closing ceremony was attended by Joint Secretary of the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India, Narinder Pal Singh, as the Chief Guest, while Editor of Srinagar Times, Sahil Yousuf, was the Guest of Honour.

 

Also present on the occasion were Dr. Ghulam Hassan, Member of the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India, General Secretary of the J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association Shakir Ashraf, along with Bilal and Firdous from the association. (JKNS)
