Anantnag, July 3 (JKNS): A youth who was critically injured in a road accident in the Chittergul area of Shangus in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday late night, succumbed to his injuries on Friday, officials said.
They said that, the deceased has been identified as Yawar Bilal Sheikh, son of Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Chittergul, Shangus.
The accident occurred late on Thursday evening, following which the injured was shifted to a hospital for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the accident. (JKNS)
