Srinagar, July 6 (JKNS): A motorcyclist was killed while two others sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle collided with a bus in the Chawalgam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Aam Sheikh, a resident of Hanid Chawalgam. Bashir, a carpenter by profession, died on the spot due to the severity of his injuries.
They said other two persons sustained grievous injuries in the accident and was shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for specialised treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
