Srinagar, July 14 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday announced summer vacation for all Government Degree Colleges falling under the Kashmir Division and the Winter Zone of Jammu Division.
According to Government Order No. 234-JK(HE) of 2026 dated July 14, 2026, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir Division and Winter Zone of Jammu Division shall observe summer vacations from July 21, 2026, to August 2, 2026.
The order has been issued by the Higher Education Department and signed by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Ram Niwas Sharma, IAS.
The colleges are scheduled to reopen after the vacation period in accordance with the academic calendar. (JKNS)
