Samba, July 14 (JKNS): A suspicious drone was recovered from an agricultural field near the Devak area of Samba district on Tuesday morning, prompting security agencies to launch an investigation.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that at around 5:50 AM, a local resident noticed a suspected drone lying in an agricultural field while on his morning walk and immediately informed the concerned security authorities.

A team reached the spot shortly afterwards and took the suspected drone into custody for examination.

Sources said the recovered object is being examined, while further investigation is underway to ascertain its origin and purpose. (JKNS)
